The Nurmi Isles Safety & Security Program is a comprehensive initiative dedicated to enhancing the safety and well-being of our community. This program features both state-of-the-art security cameras and a dedicated team of roving security guards, ensuring our neighborhood is monitored and always protected.

Key Features of Our Security System Program:

Roving Security Guards: Our program includes nightly patrols by professional security guards, who work from 9:15 PM to 5:00 AM every night of the year. Members can contact the guards while they are patrolling to report concerns or request assistance, enhancing the safety of our neighborhood with continuous monitoring.
Flock Safety Cameras: Installed atop lampposts on the north side of each bridge on Royal Palm Drive, Nurmi Drive, and Fiesta Way, these cameras are an essential part of our security measures. The Flock Safety Sparrow Cameras capture every license plate crossing our bridges, ensuring a clear record of vehicles entering and exiting Nurmi Isles. Additionally, the Flock Safety Condor Cameras provide a continuous 30-day loop of footage, offering comprehensive coverage and the ability to review past events.

Privacy and Proper Use:
To maintain privacy and ensure proper use, only Safety & Security Members are authorized to request footage to be sent to law enforcement. This measure ensures that the cameras are used responsibly and only in situations that require intervention.

Real-Time Response:
Our Safety & Security team has access to real-time footage, enabling prompt responses to incidents and efficient collaboration with law enforcement. This setup ensures a swift reaction when needed, providing peace of mind through sophisticated security measures and nighttime patrols.

Membership Information:
The cost to become a member of our Safety & Security program changes each fiscal year which runs from June 1st – May 31st and can be pro-rated for new members based on the date they join. Our membership fee ensures we can maintain, monitor, and upgrade our security systems, keeping Nurmi Isles at the forefront of community safety. The program is open to homeowners and long-term renters. Please note that if you choose not to enroll and experience an incident at your property, you will not be able to access the camera footage or contact our Nighttime Roving Security.
